Freddie just totally refuses to eat when there is someone in the room (other than me) my friend wants to see him eat, the 2 times I've tried he just won't take it! she's not standing over him or anything, in fact miles away from him. it's like he has a sixth sense haha!

ended up having to take a video instead lol.

Aah, that's a shame. My two are the same as coxymk2, they don't care who or what is watching. Apollo doesn't even pause when the dog is nearby anymore.

8 doesn't care who watches, jinx on the other hand is easliy distracted! my cousin and her friend wanted to see him eat and they were under strick instructions to sit very still and not make a sound!! it took him ages to get round to eating it he was too busy looking at what we were doing!

Regan used to be like that but she gradually got better over the course of a year or so. She was very timid when she was young. If there was any movement in the room she'd back up into her hide again and wait for twenty minutes before coming back out.
By the time she was about 2 years old she would eat wherever she was and regardless of who was around. There could be 5 or 6 people in the room, she'd still be very keen to eat, to the point where she'd often snatch the food from your hand!

when he's in the faun and friends are in he's happy to be out and about, just not happy to feed infront of others haha! on a strange way it's nice that he trusts me haha,I used to have to stay super still, now he doesn't mind if i move around. I'm sure he'll come out his shell (hide? lol) in his own time :-)
