Fester already has ... and added some of his own.
I have some monster mice on order. These might fill him up a bit more and satisfy his blood lust.
Rattler is attempting kamikaze take-offs from the top viv. I only just managed to intercept and catch him as he whistled past my right lug. 
Normal state of Harmony & Karma will be achieved ..... eventually.  |

| I was thinking what sortof living enviro they were in before for Fester to be so dominant now, lol. Maybe he is finally happy and healthy and cared for so he is spunky, Kings are a dit more fiesty than corns I thought. lol, well he is showing you love, they are love nips. |

Jenn. He was left abandoned in a student flat after the lease expired and was handed in by the landlord!  As far as care is concerned, he appears to have been well enough fed but I have no idea what conditions he was kept in or if he was handled at all. I had him in a temporary tub for a week or so before I built up a 36x16x18 home made viv, just a bit bigger than an LX36. He was a bit 'frisky' in the tub but handled OK once I got him out. The new viv is well kitted out with large carpet roll tubes, kitchen roll tubes, full length logs crossing the viv and a large Pyrex oven dish for water. He has a good splash around in it every now and again. Temps are fine, no mites or unhealthy signs. He was checked out by the SSPCA vet and given a clean bill of health. Eats and sheds perfectly and is either active clambering around everywhere, draped across the logs or burrowing in the beech chips.
I know that Kings can be a bit of Jack the Lads and need a bit more wrangling than Corns. I've already tamed a 'Beast' of a Grey Rat Snake. It's just going to take a bit more Snake Whispering to bring Fester round, and I'm up for it.
The ongoing comedy saga is just to keep this blood thirsty lot amused.It would be a pretty boring thread if all I had to report was the number of tags I got this week. I will win eventually ...even if he kills me.  |
