Hi, We just got 2 lovely baby 6 week babies from the Kempton show and they are in the process of a quiet settling in. They have been left in the RUBs from the show (18cmx12cm) and heated at 29C at one end with a small hide and water dish added. Since putting in water, the RUBs have developed condensation. A bit concerned so I am monitoring the humidity. It is a little under 50% compared to 35% in the room. Is this ok or should I transfer the snakes to a bigger RUB, add more vents, decrease temperature a bit? I don't remeber having this issue with our hatchling last year.
Hi Thanks, I was disturbing them more making extra holes. I got a better vented faunarium segregated and prepared and quietly transferred them. They handled well, had an explore and are now both settled in their cardboard tubes.
