Hi, We just got 2 lovely baby 6 week babies from the Kempton show and they are in the process of a quiet settling in.
They have been left in the RUBs from the show (18cmx12cm) and heated at 29C at one end with a small hide and water dish added.
Since putting in water, the RUBs have developed condensation. A bit concerned so I am monitoring the humidity. It is a little under 50% compared to 35% in the room.
Is this ok or should I transfer the snakes to a bigger RUB, add more vents, decrease temperature a bit?
I don't remeber having this issue with our hatchling last year.

Thanks

Drill more small vent holes in the lid. 1/8" should do it.

Hi Thanks, I was disturbing them more making extra holes. I got a better vented faunarium segregated and prepared and quietly transferred them. They handled well, had an explore and are now both settled in their cardboard tubes.

All Good. Looking forward to feeding day.
