Hi there. Not sure how old my snake is but an estimate is about 4months old. She's 17 and a half inches long and 16 grams. I got told to feed her a pinkie every 7 days but I changed that to 5 once reading the forums and realised 5 was more appropriate for a hatchling. Anyway, just fed her (pic below) and there wasn't really much of a lump. Do you suggest getting the next size up or carrying on with the 5 days?
The mouse in the snake at the bottom of the picture!
If the next size of mouse is a little large for her (should be no bigger than 1.5 x the girth of snakey) then feed he 2 pinkies each feed until she is big enough to take a fuzzie.
Thanks. I'll try 2 pinkies next time since I have pinkies left then I'll see how big the next size is my first snake and don't want to make any mistakes with her so there may be a few questions lol.
I would think trying 2 pinkies before trying a fluff would be a wise idea anyway as a pinkie to a fluff is quite a big jump up. However I do have a tendency to be perhaps over cautious if anything.
