OK recently i have seen a lot of non feeding snake post's so i thourt i would share my advice and experiences and also the knowledge that's been pasted on to me from a friend who i got my first snakes from.

each snake can be an **** to feed depending on its personality.

normal snakes you show a feeder animal to and that's it its eating it.

Finders eaters method.
some snakes like to find there food rather then being given it best way to feed these snakes is just to place in the food in a area of the viv you know your snake runs around in.

cadavers method.
my friends rat snake only eats a mouse if it has a wound to its head that exposes the feeder animals brain.
this method is not for the faint heart or thous who faint at the sight of gore. but this method dose tended to work with some snakes epically wild court animal.
not evey memer of the forum will agree with this method but i have seen it work for some.

pandors box method
simple one place snake in a box with feeder animal cover the box up with some fourm of sheet so that the snake feels secure and leave over night.

coiled up method
this one is some thing i have seen but can be dangerous with larger snakes(large boa's inpeticula) my friends snake will only eat if its coiled around some item like a pole it used to be his arm but as this snake is now 6ft its a little dangerous for him.

senting method

this is just a case of senting the feeder animal with a paticula sent that that snake may like chiken or fish are comman ones, please dont use spices to sent you feeder animals use louse juices from the meat after or befor cooking depening on the meat.

other things to try are change of feeder animal.
so from mouse pinkey to rat pinkey.
live animals may be required if your snake has not eaten.

if any one has any advice please add to this

hope this helps rak

My king is a fussy guy, sometimes the only way to make him eat is to sing to him. True story.
