I have a Ghost motley corn snake female. i dont know if it has any hets and im going to breed her.
i have found a male that is a snow that possibly has caramel through it?
do yous think i should buy the snow and breed it with my Ghost motley? and what babys would it produce?

Its totally your call and what you want to produce
Unless they have any matching hets, that pairing would give you visual aneries het for amel, hypo and motley, possible het caramel

Ooohh, I love playing on the corncalc.

If the snow IS het for caramel, then your first lot of babies will be all anery het amel and hypo, and have a 50% chance of being het caramel. Keep two of THOSE back, and if they are not both het for caramel you'll get:
Anery
Snow
Ghost
Coral Snow

However if both of them are you'll get:
Aneries
Snow
Ghost
Anery Caramel
Xanthic Snow!
Coral Snow
Citrine!
Hypo Anery Caramel

Phew! So the tl;dr version of that is - if the snow is het for caramel, and you happen to keep two babies that are also het for caramel, you have a great breeding project on your hands! It's all so exciting :D
I completely forgot to put motley in the calculator, but seeing as it's only a pattern you can guess what it does. Motley citrine anyone?

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong with any of this. Still learning!

I wonder if your ghost motley is het for amel. A lot of snakes seem to be so I wonder what that would do to the genetics....

*goes off to play with the corncalc again*
Oh, not much lol.
