Am i right in thinking that any type of tree branches can be used in a viv as long as its been treated proply?

I did read through some threads by my brain got confussed (very easily done!)

No, some woods such as pine and cedar contain resins which are toxic to reptiles.

Check the list here as a guide to what to avoid.
