Hello...

i have read in different places that you should feed a hatchling every 6 days... but i have been told that you only need to feed them every 7 days... can i have some advice please? does it really matter that 1 day or not?

i think i would prefur to feed every 7 days just so it easier to keep track but i don't want to harm the snake or let it get hungrey.

i have not got my snake yet but hoping to have it at the end of july.

Thanks in advanced for your response.

you need to feed them every 5-6 days otherwise they will take a long time to put on any weight. some breeders feed hatchlings every 7-10 days, this is called a maintenance diet and designed to keep the snake small

thanks Kev, it was a reptile shop who said to me pick a day of the week and then feed it every week on that day.

replite shops tend to do the same as some breeders and feed them a maintenance diet for the same reason, some reptile shops don't always give out the best advise either.
