Yay! It's a start in the right direction.
Are you managing to get him to take to exercise with any enthusiasm? |

He can't do the stairs that's for sure lol! But we have him out every night for an hour and he just loves exploring.
We know it will take a long while for him to get to where he is supposed to be, but I think we may just have saved his life :-D |

Fantastic news hun. I am inclined to agree with you on the saving his life thing. After seeing the size of him I don't think his body could have taken all that weight, + more on his old feeding regime, for much longer. |

He's doing great, We are feeding him every 21 days at the moment. We can tell when it's close to time as he does become more active. Perhaps that's why she was feeding him 2 large a week!
He's shedding more often than is usual - possibly due to weight loss? He's just about to shed again, which will be his 3rd time in our care. |

I wouldn't worry about the shedding as long as it is a 'good one'. There appears to have been a spate of more than usually expected this year. |

That is good news. Its strange reading this thread. So many threads are about people being really pleased that their snake is gaining weight. Makes a change to read it when its the other way round. |
