| Ive tried finding this info, but I cant seem to find the answer. I know the probe goes on the mat, but is there a particular place it should go? as in, near the middle, near the edge, or does it not matter? |

| Yup, I put mine smack bang in the middle, unless its a 2 part mat I then put it slightly off center. |

| mine is near the middle. so that cant be the reason for the fluctuations. the only thing I can think of is the fact my room is so cold (I have a room in a converted cellar, it doesnt seem to ever get particularly warm). |
