My girl laid I think today could have been yesterday , I check her nest box frequently and just so happens today I checked inside her hide and lo and behold she had laid in there , bit miffed , silly girl laying them squarely on the heat mat , they look a bit puckered up but got them straight in the incubator and hopefully they will be fine .

Last year she laid a clutch of 32 eggs , 4 being slugs . All 28 hatched and she gave me some beauties , hypo lavs , opals etc

After todays egg count I would'nt have believed she could have surpassed that number , but looks like there are 34 eggs all which if they have'nt dried out , look viable , a lot are still clumped and have left them like that . I'll give it a couple of days and recheck , hopefully they will fill out a bit .

So , fingers crossed they are okay , just wished I'd checked her hide sooner

One last jump , that's all we have to take Holth .
Wearily the old queen gathered heself to spring ;
Moreta gratefully began her litany .
Black , blacker , blackest -
They went between .

Cheers guys for the comments . She is fine at the moment , she threw me by not having a pre lay shed , 2 days after laying , she shed and ate :)

I have the eggs divided into 2 SIM's atm , I also used damp kitchen roll over the eggs to give them a little extra moisture , a couple of days ago they were looking nice and plump , odd one or two still a bit dimpled .

Today after checking them I candled them in situ , every one I candled looked a nice healthy pink inside

I will keep you updated on the progress , once again thanks for the comments .

oh and @ Dancross0 lol :)
