#1202 Candy Cane het Cinder X Miami het Cinder

We are always excited about this clutch and we've been really lucky again this year. Looks like we have some clear contenders for Candy Cane and some nice looking Miami phase animals out.
We also have 2 Amel Cinders and a really dark Cinder.

Cheers

This one has hatched now too. We have some funky patterns out on the Anery and Snow Motley - One has an almost complete pinstripe all the way down.

#1201 Amel het Anery Lava X Diffused Ghost

The male for this one should have been Amel het Charcoal Lava ph Hypo! Last year got some anery from the line so we wanted to double check and look for Hypo.

So some proof to help with working out one of our puzzles. The original male is het for Anery for sure. So we know that there is Anery and Charcoal kicking around in the original Diamond project. We have also shown there is no het Hypo in this male.

So we have Normal het Anery Diffused Hypo Amel ph Lava and Anery het Diffused Hypo Amel ph Lava!

#1235 Pied Granite X Stripe het Amel Anery Diffused Hypo

This one has hatched now and we have a good mix of animals out. Everything out is het for Pied, Diffused and Stripe. There are a few homozygous Diffused and Granite there. I think I saw a Fire too.

I'm looking forward to producing some Pied Stripe in a few years time!

Cheers :)

Shouldn't be long, we'll need a month or so to get most of the feeding to the point we are happy to let them go, we don't like to rush these things.

We'll post an availability thread soon.

#1238 Het Amel Anery Lava Charcoal X Het Amel Charcoal Lava

This is another one from the odd breeding that we have 2.3 from. This breeding should be Het Amel Charcoal Lava X Same but last year with this male we got Lava, Anery and no Charcoal. All very odd.

This one has hatched and yet more odd results! We can see Hypo, Amel and Anery and not a lot else.. So much for Charcoal and Lava :P

Some you win, some you lose. We'll need to do some proper targetting of breed testing next year to work out exactly what is going on with this project!

#1264 Het Caramel Lava Motley X Same

Some projects go well and some not so well - we have had mixed luck with these two girls over the last couple of years. This year we managed to get Topaz and Lava Motley which is a great outcome :D

#1266 Het Cinder Lava X PH Cinder Lava

Looks like our female has proven to be het Cinder but not het Lava. Not a bad outcome at all! The Cinders from his clutch are all showing a really nice Cinder pattern and the colouration is looking nice already. I'm pleased to see that the Cinder outcrossing hasn't diluted the pattern influence!

#1226 Pied het Hypo Amel X Cinder ph Diffused

This one has hatched too. The Cinder female has proven to be het Diffused which is really great :D

So we have some Normals and some Diffused from this pairing.

We have a couple of the males that have really extreme diffusion!
