The substrate here is orchid bark. What you cant see is a piece of bark that she uses as a burrow. To get it to clump, use a 50/50 mix of potting compost and orchid bark, or just use orchid bark with something it can use as a burrow.
As for care, it depends where the tarantula is from, so have a read up! |

ok to its taken me three attempts to look, the close ups just kinda freaked me out lol, didn't even see the warning at the bottom!! they are defianlty interesting critters even if they do freak me out |

*Cringe* I don't like spiders!! I was expecting a nice little gecko or something! Thanks for the warning though, I almost missed it as I was going that fast! Although she is quite pretty compared to lots of spiders i've seen ;) |
