My eggs are on day 52 (feels like days 500)
and all but two of them have sunken inwards a little.

I've covered them with damp kitchen roll just incase it is dehydration, but they haven't filled back out since yesterday afternoon.

assuming (and hoping) that they are just absorbing the yolk and will be ready to hatch in the next few days

One of them, one of the ones that hasn't dented inwards yet, is absolutely massive compared to the rest.
It is at least twice the size of the smallest egg.. almost the size of a golfball!

I was wondering how common twinning is?

I think its cause im keeping one this time

Ill def post pics, might need help identifying some of the morphs. Im rubbish at telling if they are hypo lol.
Fingers crossed for snows and ghosts!!

just wanna say best of luck with the eggs.

in regards with "twins" i really hope this isnt the case but i had the same last year and it didnt hatch with the rest of the clutch so i left it till the second clutch hatched and ripped it open. sorry to say the baby was half developed but was just full of liquid no yoke. so i hope u have better luck with yours than mine

Thanks for letting me know, at least it wont be too much of a shock.
I dont think I could open it up though, itd be too weird! There are still veins in it but it does have a slight yellow tinge. Ill just leave it to incubate, if the snake is dead will the egg eventually shrivel and go bad do you think?

i dont no to be onest. mine didnt thats what i didnt under stand. my egg did go a bit opaque but it never went yellow. but it went from beginning of march up till june/july so i just thought it werent gonna hatch. so all the water that it soaked up made it that clear

I know! Ill need another tub for him though, should set one up just incase really.

Still no pips this morning though :( and the golf ball egg still hasnt dented inwards.
Do you think twins would take longer to incubate?

Im still just hoping its a biig hatchling, lol. But we'll see.

Aw I bet gmac was really excited when it was twins! Would be so cool if they both pipped at same time!! :D

Okay so I feel like my eggs have decieved me lol
They had all but two dented inwards, I havent changed anything and now they have all filled back out apart from the top two!!
Looks like I still have a little way to go :(

Oh, I candled the golf ball and saw a tiny movement. Only did it for a moment though, dont want to disturb them too much but its given me hope that itll be okay.

Just hatch damnit!!

So i feel like I'm going insane!
Still no sign of any snakes I know I just need to be patient.. but I think my patience is running out lol.

Good news though, more of the eggs have dented inwards, so theoretically it shouldn't be too long now.
She says.
The top two eggs have been dented inwards for 5 or 6 days now.. I just wish something would happen!
