well our snake misteriously shed during the night when everyone was sleeping :O sneeky little snake! BUT one problem the shed is still retained on his tail! just wondered the BEST methods to get rid of the retained shed on his tail?
you can run her tail through a wet towel. exactly the same thing happened to one of my snakes this week,i put a moss box in wiyth her as there was quite a bit still on the tail. she went in the box straight away and a day later all the shed had come off by it's self
did you put your snake in the moss before you ran her through a wet towel? am extremely worried and where gonna try get the retained skin off asap as a read on here that it could mean loss of their tail if its kept like this too long :(!!
her tail won't drop off in the next couple of days, think of it as a tourniquet, either use the moss hide and let her do it herself or use the wet towel/facecloth, something with a little bit of friction to run through with you adding a little bit of pressure, i've done this before and its worked really well, don't pull it off though just let it slide off

think we are gonna try this! we where gonna try the cotton wool method by sooking the tail with water as a seen in the shedding sticky on this, only thing when we do this method use have said this might sound so stupid but damp towel? or just wet?
