I have had my corn snake, cornflake for about 6 weeks. We were advised that she was eating fuzzies. I have been feeding her a fuzzy once a week. I have been doing some research and using the Munson plan, I think she is not getting enough food. She currently weighs 44g and the fuzzies are about 3g. According to the plan, she should be getting a meal of about 7g every 5/6 days. Can I just feed her 2 fuzzies? Do I just give her one after another?

Also, the arms of the meal this week were pointing forward and she had trouble eating as the arms got hooked round her mouth. Should I bend the arms back the other way before giving the fuzzy to her or let her get on with it?

Thanks

the only issue with doing a double feed is if shes not ready she may regurge. what i did with my thinner corn was give a fluff and a pinky, then moved to hoppers, then a hopper and a pinky and he had his first small last night.

i would maybe feed him a fluff every 6 days. x

If I need them to feed quickly, I'll chop the front legs off once I'd defrosted them, they spend 10 minutes going in circles trying to chase the legs into their gobs otherwise lol!

Half the fun of a snake eating is when it's evil plan gets foiled by those little legs! Ara looks so daft when he's scraping his head backwards along the floor to get em to bend the right way. I figure it's just nature, but I guess if you're on a time limit then chop them little paws off!
