hey, my snake goes through periods of just staying in her hide all day / night, sometimes this can last for a month or two.. then the next 2 months she'll be really active out every night, any reason for this?
also she's in 'blue' now, her eyes are cloudy but they dont go blue as she's a butter, skins dry so im 99% sure shes going into shed.. will she be alright shedding if she doesnt come out her hide?
cheers! |

Hello there, don't worry about her, snakes are strange like that! The only thing you can really do to encourage her out is pack out your viv with a few nice fake plants and bits of branches, maybe a few kitchen roll cubes. They way she wont feel so exposed.
As for shedding, she'll be out and about at night to do it i'm sure. I wouldn't be overly concerned :) |

Yeah, butters go crispy looking haha, with most light coloured corns it's the easiest way to tell besides the eyes :) |
