Hi everyone... Not been on here for ages, just having a read through posts and catching up. How is everyone? Anyone got any new additions?
Q-what size viv does everyone keep their adult corns in? I am wanting to buy x3 viv exotic vivariums (one for Percy, and then the other two for milk an king snake I plan on getting) obviously I want the vivariums to be the same size so that they look nice stacked on top of one another, but can someone point me in the direction of the correct sized viv exotic which would house either a adult, corn, and milk snake?
I hope that all makes sense...
Ps- went to a local rep shop today, was great, have fallen in love with a cali king which pooped on me, got musked on by a milk snake and handled a gorgeous royal python. Also had a look at some Tokay geckos (which aren't as brightly colored as I was expecting?!)
Hope everyones ok. Elicia.x |

oh and another thing....have got an addiction now for preparing wood! I wanted some nice branches for Percy and thought the shop prices where ridiculous! went to the local woods and chopped some branches...im now hooked! There is something really therapeutic about the stripping of the bark and the sanding!! (yes I know im very sad!) it was very satisfying to see Percy hanging out on her new branch knowing that I hadn't paid a penny for it! |

Most of mine are in the 4ft narrow viv exotics but I do have one in a 3ft, and 3ft is what most people have theres in, I just like the 4ft ones for the extra space to put decor in :)
It depends, what type milksnake were you looking at? I have seen some photos where they are a little over 3ft and others over the 6ft mark. I'm sure 3ft would be fine for most though. |
A very special super, duper thanks for K :3 |

most of my corns (and king thats big enough) are in 3ft, although a couple are in narrow 4ft (think i got those vivs as in all honesty they were cheap), tend to go with 3ft though. does depend what milk snake you are looking at though as stapey said. |

I had wondered about the Milk as ive heard some people mention how big they are...but the adults ive seen were more or less same as corn. I couldn't find anything on internet though about what size each type can get to...but anyway its a Pueblan the one Ive been looking at...how big do think they are likely to get?
The milk snake is a long term thing anyway, no rush for him yet. Its a king snake im after at the moment. I thought I would only keep corns but have fallen in love with a banana banded cali king in a local petshop (am hoping to get him next week) |
