Well he's done it. I came home from my night shift and checked on him and was surprised to find a fully intact shed Frodo's now showing off his new coat Before my night shift I put took his water bowl from the cool end and put it slightly on the warmer end to try and up the humidity, I dont know if it work because fauns are very well vented and I have no means of measureing the humidity, but any how his hole shed stage from cloudy eyes to full shed only took 5 days Just in time for his regular feeding time.
The shed measures 18 inches

I put loads more substrate in my tub. she loves to burrow through it. I think Cassie is about the same length as Frodo but not as wide, but I think she is younger. You don't get to put much in those little vivs at their age though, I think mine looks a bit packed, love your pics so far |

Cheers, I'm a bit unsure as how much substrate to put in there to be honset. some people just use kitchen role so it thought i would use a bit of both. Whats your advice guys?
I've taken some cracking pics of Frodo's feeding session which I'll post later

I put about 2cm of aspen in and i would use longer tubes with one end folded over, then you might find that he will use them. |

I use about 2cm's as well, she loves to burrow about in it, you can see little tunnels which is cool. Also if you ever get any wax worms, or anything in those tubs they make good hides I found. I cut a hole in the middle and sanded the edges smooth and Cassie quiet likes to curl up in them. So far she has stayed in the different hides, a long tube in the middle and within the substrate so she moves about nicely |

Hi people, here are some snaps of Frodo feeding which I took the other day. He's on x2 pinkies every 7 days. He takes them well. It only takes about 10-15 minutes to have them both. Sorry for the amount of pictures but I thought they came out quite good
Enjoy
I took some pics on the kitchen roll to get some good shots, then I gave him the second pinkie in the tub so it's easyier to put him back in his faun.
How long before he can have a fuzzy do you think? Hope you like

Awesome pictures Brads, Frodo looks amazing!! I think you should maybe leave it another month or so before you think about moving up to fuzzies, i had Angelina on 3 pinkies for a few weeks before i moved her up! Also if theres a sizeable bulge after hies eaten then id leave it
Hope that helps |
