That's what we thought when we saw the advert.
Since putting them together we've had the head bobbing and waving all typical bearded dragon behaviour but we've got the viv set up so there is plenty of places to escape for her.

DO you really want to breeding an animal in such high supply that even shops are having to sell them for £20 each, the breeder probably got £10 if that. They cost far more to incubate, house and feed until they are at a size suitable for selling them and between 16 and 24 little beardies eat a lot of food.

I'm not doing this to make any money I do have 2 spare vivs on standby so can seperate if I need to.
I'm doing this in preparation for when I start breeding with the snakes with my aim to breed GTPs eventually.
Thought that this would be great way to learn and understand egg incubation and how to tell which eggs are fertile etc.

Thats OK as long as you are doing it for the right reasons and understand what you are getting yourself into. On the plus side the reward of incubating and looking after the little ones will give you enormous satisfaction so not all loss.

We all like to make a few quid on the side but like you said the satisfaction incubating and bringing the little ones on far out way the money side of it.
If your in it for money then it becomes a business not a hobbie IMO
Any money that I make from it will go back into my hobbie either with food of equipment.

You can control the number you hatch by removing a certain amount of eggs.

We've decided to call her Lizzy then changed it to Izzy which is short for Elizabeth as when she waves its so regal and it looks like Queen lol.
So her official name is Izzy now.
