Hi all
Ozzie had another fit last Wednesday so he has been back to the vets today, he is now on Epiphen (Phenol barbitol) twice a day and Diazepam to be given (after) if he has another fit. Not really the route I wanted to take but he was so distressed after the fit last wednesday and the vet and I felt it was the best option for him so fingers crossed we can get on top of this little problem. |

Sorry to hear it has happened again so soon. Not ideal to have any family member on meds but it should help the problem. Best of luck. |

Corn7, thank you. lupi lou, unfortunately the medication will be lifelong but hopefully at some point we might be able to reduce it if we can get the fitting under control, and yes thank you I'm ok, once the next 4 weeks are out of the way I'll feel a lot happier. and finally Donnie thank you, it was a bit of a shock Ozzie having another fit so soon but at least now we're doing something positive to help him. |
