After a month of trying my 10mth anery has at last stopped being a scared boy and has started to come out onto my hand without having to grab him and having him run and hide. Seems my patience has paid off hooray.

Aww I'm glad your hard work payed off :) I've got a three year old girl and she'll pace up and down the front of the viv. I take her out and she squirmes like hell! Wants to go straight back inside and is very stubborn.. she's a bit odd lol

Yeah i have not quite got to that stage with mine yet he is about 7 months old and i think catch me if you can is his favourite game, he has a 3ft viv ( which i know most people says is too big but he loves the space) but he will shoot from one side to the other or stick his head out of his hide to say hello and will pop it back in if i try to pick him up and within seconds he will pop it out again as if to say ner ner you missed me.
