Hi there everyone, just a quick question, this time last year and this year spaghetti has been a randy little so-and-so, bashing up the viv, rubbing her poor nose scales off trying to escape and generally being an active and hyperactive snake.

I put this down to the 'time of the year' being that she's quite quiet during the rest of the year and does not try to escape quite so forcefully!

Do female snakes get the horn? Or is this a sign that she's really a he, also does anyone know of anyone in the North East that can prod/probe her'him for me, I was hoping to breed in the future and would appreciate finding out before I purchase her a suitable mate!

Thanks, Zan x

Ring up your local reptile shop and ask if they wouldn't mind probing her for you? That is what I did.
