Hi all, following on from my previous viv set up topics. I now have it all set up and looking beutiful :) using LED's from B&Q.

I have a couple of general questions;

1) How often should i feed my corn? she is approx 1yr and half old and just coming up 3ft long. I have just bought her some larger fuzzies.

2) I have a night and day stat and have set the day temps to 27c and night to 17c is that ok?

3) i know corns hide a lot but she seems to hide all the time, is this normal and how to i encourage her to become more open lol

feed once a week. I have never use day night/day stat so sorry cant help you there. Its normal for her to hide all the time. She will be more out and about when you are sleeping. She will start to feel more confident and venture out over time tho

I would think she should be on weekly smalls by now, I would set the day to 28 and the night to 22 (28 and 22 being the reading on the thermometer not the stat) and they tend to hide a lot of the time, midnight will move around the back of her viv where as light moves at the front against the glass, they are all different.

Don't forget to post pics of your set up

:) i was going to buy a 3D background as my local reptile place sells em and one of them is rocky/green and it matches my "theme" perfectly! but i dunno. I think the viv being a Walnut colour makes it look better, i think it would look poorer if it was a beach colour

What a beautiful set up! I can't wait to get Jake a new viv in the next few months! It's really exciting seeing other peoples set ups! Just makes me jealous as I want them all!
