Will it be ok to stick a heatmat in viv with double sided sticky tape ?

No, don't use tape in a viv EVER! Snakes have this incredible ability to seek out tape and stick themselves to it....

Some aquarium sealant would do if you are wanting it stuck down good and proper, though I just use heavy hides.

I use a hot glue gun, no waiting hours for it to dry and no nasty fumes and the viv is ready for use in minutes and can be used all around the house so a brilliant investment.

yup i use a glue gun to stick everything im my viv x

1.0 western hognose (hero)
1.0 phantom reverse pin dal brindle crested gecko (goyle)
0.2 red dal red harly (sprite) 99% full pin Harley crested gecko (TuLong)
0.0.3 miomantis paykullii
0.0.3 Bombina orientalis (oriental fire bellied toad)
0.3 fancy mice (snap, crackle and pop)
1.0 yorkshire terrier (jasper)
2.1 cats (echo, shadow and pokey)

I would say glue gun as well. Recently bought one from b & q for just under £12 and comes with a couple of sticks of glue.

My adults viv came with a heatmat, which had some very low tack doubled sided tape on the bottom, with a few scaled attached to it.

Hot glue is amazing, I use it for all my sticking needs :D

in the range they sell hot and cold glue guns for 6.99 a go, but they take mini sticks the one from b and q take big ones which last alot lonhger x
