It's around breeding season so if he's a male he might just be in ''the mood'' but not for food lol. I wouldn't refreeze personally

do not re-freeze previously frozen meat items-
whether yours or snakes-

as soon as it's defrosted, the natural decay process begins- bacteria start to multiply, and if left for any length of time, the meat becomes dangerous to eat.

refreezing doesn't kill off these bacteria, and the mouse (or whatever) is therefore potentially a health hazard if defrosted a second time.

I hope yr snakey eats for you soon, but don't worry too much. they can go AGES.. it's probably a combination of coming into blue, and the time of year (esp if he is definitely a 'he')

and you thought there was no such thing as a stupid question....

1.2.0 corns: captain haddock, sharon the tiddler and Darling Debbie. plus 0.2.0 cali kings: spot and Numpty... not forgetting the delightful Miss Lovely-Gonzalez-La-Poop apricot pueblan milk snake, and we all miss the Lodger who thought he was a cobra....

I refreeze my mice, my snakes have never regurged from it and is totally fine and I think a few other members re-freeze, I don't see how there is any problem. LOng as it's not smelly or bleeding or pooping, refused food gets popped back in the freezer. I find I can only do this though with naturally defrosted stuff rather than defrosting by warm water.

A very special super, duper thanks for K :3
