Hey guys
My last posts on here were about 2 months ago when my snake escaped. There is a thread in the intros and I added a post to the lost snakes thread if you want background info.
Basically he was new to me, and was only about 6 months old. I had only fed him once when he disappeared.
He was found this afternoon on our staircase, and I am over the moon!
Obviously I am keen to feed him cos I doubt he's had much over the past few months (although we had a small mice problem so if they had babies maybe he actually was feeding! lol)
I have furries (which is what he was on). Should I give one as he was fed before? Or should I keep offering until he stops feeding? I dont want to risk any damage from over feeding if he has gone a while without anything.
Thanks for your input

i would leave him be for a few days to start to settle back in again then offer something smaller than he was previously on, and just the one. if that goes down an stays down leave him for a week then offer double the smaller rodent. if they stay down start handling again an feeding as appropriate

Glad you got him back! I reckon you should leave him to settle in again for a few days because he must be unused to captivity again after 2 months
