Hey all, another quick one (I'm full of questions today haha!)

I've been offering my adult a chick about once a week, but I've been cutting off the wings and legs. The legs are then chopped apart from the thigh.
I've been giving the wings and legs as little extras alongside the 4 yearlings/subadults mice, and I've been giving my tiny butter a thigh or two (but of course he's primarily fed pinkies)

I only just remembered the whole thing about chicks not being as good as mice, so do you think I should stop offering out the bits? They are fed every two weeks, so it's not every week (apart from the butter, he's so small for 8 months!)
And they're all still munching their mice, no way you could put them off, they'll eat anything xD

It at least makes up the 15p spent, seeing as Holly is looking at every bit of food like it wants to kill him! Everytime he looks like he's done with the ladiesladieladies he's back to normal the next day xD

I personally would just feed them mice. I only tried chicks once when Griffin went on a huuuuge hunger strike, but that was an option I took after trying all other methods of trying to get him to eat. (bar assist or live feeding)

Chicks are actually roughly the same as adult mice nutritionally, but as for the parts I dont know. Personally I don't see the harm if it's not the staple food source for the little ones.

They are, are they? I've seen a lot of debate about it all, the whole chicks VS Mice thing, but really, if they are the same I'd rather spend 15p feeding my adult as opposed to £1. He's only being offered them at the moment due to price, as he's too lady obsessed to eat :P
