Hi all, I've been thinking that it'd be quite fun to aquire some more snakeys and breed.
It seems quite fun, but how costly is it? (I won't be going into it for profits, but if it works out uber expensive then I won't do it)
Thx

Depends what you have now, and what you want to get. Ignoring the cost of the parent snakes, you are looking at about 55 quid to set up an incubator from scratch, then assuming you have 20 babies, feeding for 5 weeks will be £16 for 100 pinkies from TSM plus delivery of 9.99. You will also have the cost of 20 small tubs, and 20 water bowls. |

the vast majority of the cost is the stat, you really need a dimmer at least. the rest of it is pennies. |

indeed depending on the set up can allso get away without a stat, water bowls in my vivariums consist of the bottoms cut of milk bottles a few inches high with insulation tape round the edges so its not sharp ;) |

Its highly unlikely that you can build an incubator and not use a stat! you simply cannot control the temps. |
