dont believe all your snakes are "routine feeders" My Tango last night... well.. scared thepoopoutta me! i was hanging his food inside his viv by the usual tongs, along he came sniffing as usual and WHAM!!!! he struck his food but leaped out of the small gap (wide enough for my hand) where i was feeding through. came flying out the viv food in mouth! so there he was hanging down half in and out with his dinner coiled up lol! NEVER has he done a strike like that, usually "the norm" creep up and strike and coil within about 2 inches of the strike start. BEWARE!!!! even your most routine snake.. can be different lol.
after my heart stopped raceing i managed to place him back in where he proceeded to stuff his face. |
