 changes as snakes get older

no particular reason for this question, just curious-
it seems some morphs get more distinct colouring as they get bigger, some get less so- I saw some comparison pics a while back where a baby anery started out almost black/white, then months later was shades of grey, and I think morphs like butters and bloodreds get more and more intense colours as they grow.Is this right? do all morphs change dramatically? and which do what?

and you thought there was no such thing as a stupid question....

my amel male started off like a candy cane red and white no yellow or orange. no nearly 3 years later his got hardly any whit and it has been replaced with bright orange and yellow
