corns will breed any time of the year, normally the breeders would try them from March - July though

The only problem with mine is that, they are 2-3 months old and living in the same viv, he seem to act fine together, they curl up together and everything, them mating is the only thing i worry about because i have heard that it is extreamly dangerous for the female ??

and the fact you dont have a stat, the male regurged last week, you only got the female the other day. Mattocks you were given enough info on FB page last night to know mating is not the only worry you have.

That is soo cool,
The only reason they were living in the same viv is becase when they were at the pet store both snakes were kept in the same viv, with around 5 other snakes, i purchaced 2 because, they told me that they would get along because they lived together previously

Shops cohab their snakes because it wouldnt really be practical or cost effective for them to have separate setups for each individual animal. Its not an ideal way to house them, but the animals usually dont stay in shops for very long. Many shops also keep animals in much smaller enclosures than private keepers do and many places will talk out of their bottoms to make a sale

That is very true but, my corns are not cramped in their viv and seem very happy and are livley and seem to like each others company, if anythig happens i will gladly seperate them but i just want to try it out, i had a load of advice thrown at me yesterday which was really useful but i just want to try cohabiting them because lots of people do it :)

its more to the point that you know they are opposite sexes, i cohab mine but i am getting the sexed next week and if they are opposites they are getting seperated straight away, even if they are the same sex i am thinking of seperating them, as i firstly thought it was all a good idea and that they 'seem' to like each other but the lay seperate just as much as they do together its more that they want that hide and not each other. i think we should leave cohabitating to the more experienced keepers. sorry, not meant to be a rant just in the same situation. :)

so you want to try and cohab opp sex corns, seriously? lots of people do it, yes they do and they may have experience but i do not know anyone that cohab opp sex animals that young. There is a reason for it, they will mate early they have no concept of "wait the female isnt old enough", they dont care they are not friends. What you are thinking of doing is detrimental the both snakes health particularly the female, if she is bred to small she has a good chance of not surviving.

So what you are saying in effect is I wasted my time last night offering advice as I have done today as you are gonna do your own thing?

No i took into account everything you said, it wasn't a waste of time, i may sepperate them i am going to buy a RUB tomorrow.

What happens to the female if they breed young: i know they can die but what actually happens to its body?

they dont hide from each other in that sense, they are very active and move from hide to hide, if they are together then they are if not then not. i think seperating them is the best thing to do all round. :) and you should 100% seperate yours! i made the mistake of listening to the pershop owner and cohabbing two and i am learning from that. you should seperate them before its too late, if you cannot keep both then take one back to the store and explain.
