I'm really sorry to hear about this poor girl.The main things is that she had a lovely owner who cared very muched and tried to do everything for her though.

This is a great shame, I am sorry that it couldnt be sorted out. you did the right thing, unfortunately the hardest thing to do sometimes is the right thing! Hopefully the others will be ok, which i am sure they are.
