Parents apparently ghost father and carolina mother. Other hatchlings in the shop had distint reddish spots on them and were definitely carolinas/normals. I asked if Corno (sorry, son's snake, he gets to name her lol!!) was an anery and the owner said she would never have any red in her so I assume this was a yes lol! She definitely looks brown rather than black and white, but looking at other photos it seems you get different colours of anerys too. I was just wanting to double check if I was correct about her being an anery or if she was something else lol!
(Plus it's an excuse to post a piccy ) She's hidden constantly since we got her, hoping she gets a bit braver soon! |

Looks like an anery to me. She'll probs get darker as she gets older.
They are pretty nervous when they are younger but will get happier with handling for 5-10mins a day (after the 7 day settling in period). |

baby anerys are often black and silver, as eeji says she looks quite light-coloured so may be a ghost? |

Lol, I should have been more patient - she's shed and changed colour lol!
I cannot get belly shots yet as I've already broken the rules - we've only had her a few days, but I knew she started to shed a few days back but wasn't getting anywhere (head and top of neck off but the rest still retained). So we got her out tonight and gently let her go through some wet kitchen roll and success!!! She's all shiny and new and gorgeous! (teeny tiny area of belly visible on 1st pic)
