Hi folks,
It was our 3rd feeding session with Cornelius last night & we were feeling confident because his other 2 feeds had gone fab.
Anyway, I put my hand into his fauna to get him (thinking I'd have another chase on my hands!) but surprisingly he came straight onto my hand & I picked him up gently.
I passed him to my OH so he could put Corny in his RUB. (We have never handled him just before a feed because I've read this can stress them out & they might not eat).
Normally, he'll go into his RUB, settle quickly then start eating. Last night, he kept trying to get out of his RUB, which he did a couple of times & trying to make a 'run' for it.
My OH teased him with the pinky, he did a little strike at it then he didn't take anymore notice of it. We eventually managed to get him in his RUB, still looped over my OH's finger, he then ate the pinky & we put him straight back into his fauna.
I was just wondering (& worrying a bit!) if that's normal behaviour & nowt to worry about because he acted differently than with his other feeds?
I was more stressed out last night than he was!!
Sorry for the long topic but thx for reading!!
Thx in advance for any reassurances you can give me! |

We hadn't realised but it had taken us 30mins to feed him!

My Indra spent about 5 mins trying to escape, from the RUB I feed her in, before she even noticed the pinkie last time. I supose they all take being fed differntly, so I wouldn't worry.
