Hey guys.... I'm really worried about my snow, when I was handling her earlier I accidentally dropped her!! I really didn't mean too. She didn't fall far and landed on carpet she appeared fine after and ate for the first time perfectly!! What do I need to look out for? Also this is probably really silly but when I fed my other corn she seemed to have a bit of trouble and there was blood coming from her mouth... I'm assuming this was from the mouse but I just wanted to check it out.

| I wouldnt worry TOO much about the dropping victim. My 3year old corn fell off my shoulder last week and he's grand! i just wouldnt advise you to do it too often :P Can't answer about your bloody mouth corn, as you said, it may have been from the mouse.. |

I wouldn't worry too much, cornsnakes tend to bounce. Psiren once launched herself off of my bed onto the floor, and she's fine (I sleep in the top of a bunk bed)
Just don't do it too oftenm as Katie says ;) |

I'm sure if we all had to be honest we have all dropped at least one of our snakes at some point. Its not ideal but when they are little its not likely to do any damage but it does become more dangerous the bigger your snake is but they do fall all the time in their vivariums.
All mine are gore fest feeders, quite a lot of the feeds end bloody and if they really go for a good constrict you even get guts too. |
