I fed Fliffy Sat night, left him till today before handling him, give his RUB a clean out today but found no poo!! Should I be worried and what does a hatchling poo look like? |

I'm sure he'll poop soon I find my hatchlings usually poo anywhere between 3 and 7 days after they eat, if you look at his vent he will probably have a nice big poo bulge just before it, if he still hasn't pooped in a couple of days you can give him a luke-warm bath to help urge him on :) Their poo looks a bit like bird poo, but in the bath it'll most likely shoot out like a brown cloud lol. |

Mine usually poops on the 3rd and 4th day after eating so i would worry too much. Also it will be very small and unnoticable on Aspen (if you're using that). I use kitchen roll and only just notice it. |

That really isn't required a few days after a feed. They will go when they go, its normal for them to poo a few days after a feed but sometimes they wont, for instance if my corn is approaching a shed he will hold on for up to 2 weeks, it does them no harm at all.
Bathing for any reason is a last resort as the vast majority of snakes dont like it.
Hatchling poo is tiny and if its left for any time at all it turns to dust. You're best to use your nose, you'll smell it before you see it. It looks a little bit like bird poo, it will have a black bit with white around it. |
