Despite ALL the doors being tight closed and there being no gaps in the viv at all, Felix has decided to go walkabouts

Set all sorts of traps so hopefully she'll turn up soon!

if he's only recently gone and you're around to check tape traps hourly try them......just low tack masking tape, sticky side up with the ends doubled over and stuck to the carpet
but they MUST be checked VERY regularly as snake + tape = mess

Good luck finding him, remember to check all warm/dark/small places, piles of clothes, under beds/wardrobes/bookcase... And if he's recently gone AWOL then he's likely to still be close by, e.g in the same room as his viv. We found teeny weeny George under the bed hidden at the back. Fingers crossed for you Figs, x

both our little ratsnakes have been on the run!
the female black rat escaped from her cricket tub after i brought her downstairs (usually in the rack upstairs) to show a friend. we put tape traps down next to the skirting boards all around the room and she was found on a subsequent check about 6 hours later. tbh she looked dead as the masking tape had completely immobilised her but we started removing the tape and as soon as her jaw was free she tagged my OH in appreciation lol it's imperative that tape traps are checked hourly as they can make an awful mess of a snake
the male white-sided rat escaped from his cricket tub upstairs and was found downstairs a week later, about as far away in the house as he could have got! i was sat in the dark on the laptop and i heard something move behind the telly. i naturally checked it out........and they he was!
now anything in cricket tubs has 4 elastic bands around the tubs for security!
i've also known people lose snakes that have been found months and even up to a year since they went missing, i hope Felix turns up soon *crosses fingers and toes*
