Hi guys,
My new little baby is missing! I only brought him home yesterday so in less than 24 hour he has escaped from his faun! He hatched on the 27/7 and is so tiny he managed to escape from the small hole in the top of an exoterra faun (the one for the thermometer cables). I'm kicking myself because I'm usually so pedantic about blocking up every single tiny hole! Especially after Siren escaped between her viv doors.

I've searched everywhere and now have traps and hides and water and flour around everywhere upstairs so now all I have is an unbearable waiting game on my hands! And hoping that he can't get into my adult's viv and get eaten! What are the chances of him being able to get downstairs being so young and small?

When my guy went missing from my bedroom (upstairs) i found him nearly 2 months later in the hotpress (upstairs). I did find a shed skin in the downstairs sitting room though which means he was having a fairly impressive exploration! Try not to worry too much. He could turn up sooner rather than later, or it could take weeks! They are hardy little guys though so hopefully he's ok!

ours did the other week
the hatchie white-sided ratsnake was on the run for a week, he turned up downstairs, about as far away from where he escaped from as possible, behind the telly!
no idea if he made his own way downstairs or came down in a washing basket, kids coat pocket or whatever

thanks guys. I keep checking everything i take downstairs in case he's hitchiking! I'm hoping he's still upstairs and that he'll venture out for water tonight so I at least know which room he's taken cover in! I was lucky with Siren as she was located the same day so haven't had to do the agonising waiting for too long.
But yes do everyone with very small snakes check your faun holes!
