The heat mat is rather small, though... I think it'd be best to buy a bigger one. And another gauge and hide. |

I noticed, A33. Not a bad price for what is included, though I think I'd be better off making my own rub XD

is a decent price, but Im not sure i understand why make your own rub? Also once you add on digi thermometer a larger mat and a stat it is all adding up. Would more than likely be cheaper to source it all indivdually. |

Its quite misleading saying it has all the basics you will need when it doesnt even mention in other items you may want to purchase,a thermostat when that should be top of the list being so important. No wonder people overlook the importance of thermostats if they havent done proper research. |

That's a good deal! Would I need another thermometer for the other end of the Viv? |

For the cool end of my viv i only have a strip thermometer. I think the hot end is the only real worry for temperature to accurate. I might be wrong tho... |

i only monitor cool end temps in the boas vivs
with the dual probe thermometers it means you can use each probe to monitor the warm end in 2 vivs.........*nods* let the addiction commence! |

The themoter is carp but yeah, that is a better price.
You can easily get a hatchie set-up for under £45 quid though without having to pay for usless junk which will get used for like 6 months and never again or just stuff that really is undeeded. |
A very special super, duper thanks for K :3 |

I have a miniature bird house for my hatchlings hide when she FINALLY arrives.. only cost me 50p and it's soo cute I'll get some pics of her in there when she hatches.
But yeah Paws for thought is a really good pet shop in leeds. And reptilia in Ossett where I am is the most amazing reptile shop I've been in. Every set up they have (and there are loaads) is set up brilliantly. They are a little overpriced though.. but still, very good to their stock |

I would like to see a "starter kit" that includes a heat mat, ministat (thermostat) and digital thermometer NOTHING ELSE because I like to choose the habitat and decoration myself, but the above 3 items are non negotiable |
