Hiya - have recently taken on my sisters unwanted corn snake Reggie. He's beautiful and I already love him. Reggie is my first snake, despite a life long love of them, and I hope to get him used to me soon as he has not been handled much at all. Am sure will be using forum for advice and questions as he deserves a happy life and I am going to ensure that he gets it. Just wanted to say hi - and please expect plenty of questions as I want to make sure that I get it right with him. Els |

Hello and welcome! Questions are good; better to ask first than to find out the hard way |

Hello a little tip I learned from ppl on this forum....when it comes to rehoming a snake that hasnt been handled much, carry a sock with you for 24 hours and place it in the snakes viv or rub. That way he/she starts to get used to your smell. It worked a treat for me with Griffin! xx |

Hi and welcome. Congrats on getting your first snake. Do you know how old he is?
The care sheets are an excellent start in your research then following that, the search function is great for finding extra information. Then you can always ask to double check things or if you are not sure. There is lots of conflicting information out there that sometimes it can be hard to know what to do. And remember, the only stupid question is one not asked (unless it's how many legs does a snake have) |
