This little guy (I use the term loosely, we haven't popped him yet), pipped out last night at about 2am. Was just heading off to bed and caught this surprise! He came out of his egg completely late this afternoon.

Sorry about the bad eggs there, they were stuck to the good ones and didn't want to separate them so just put them all in the incubator.

In his new 0.75L RUB

He's a little Amber from an Amber het Amel x same pairing. Unfortunately, out of the 15 eggs laid only 3 were viable and two ended up dying during the incubation. I'll be keeping this one, seeing as he's so special!

Just a quick question, as this is my first time breeding/hatching corns, I've noticed that he's flicking his tongue out but then keeping it out. Do most of the freshly hatched corns do this as a scent thing?

I think he's very beautiful!
