Thankyou everybody, despite his looks he's actually a really gentle soul, never gone for me. Which is good as he's my 1st snake and he's been very understanding about my learning curve. He did hiss at me once last week.....Suffice to say I let him be for a bit....

Great photos. He really does look like he's frowning as opposed to the normal 'wide eyed' look of a corn. |

Hehe thankyou everybody. Actually I wonder if you could help. I'm currently Feeding him a fluff (thumbsize not including tail) once every 5 days. I think he's ready to move up to the next size food. He's wide enough in the body jut his neck is tiny, will he 'stretch' ? |

You feed them a mouse that is 1.5 times the thickness of the snake at its thickest point. I would switch to 7 days though, dont want him becoming a fatty.
He does have the frown of an everglades rat snake (corns are ratsnakes too I know), very cool, a mean looking but outwardly nice snake. |

Oh man I totally feel bad now, poor lads half starved, no wonder he's frowning lol. Thanks for the advice I will get him a big mouse and feed him in a couple if days time. |
