One of the berber skinks has shed this morning. Its coming off in bits which I assume is normal for a lizard. I have noticed that there was shed on his back, under his chin and on his back legs and he has now buried himself again. I know that it must come off but should I leave him for the next 24 hours or longer to see if he removes it himself OR should I remove it for him with the aid of damp kitchen towel etc. I know that beardies can take upto a week do shed completely but there is very little info about for skinks. Thanks. |
