So out of interest I thought I would weigh and measure Griffin..

He weighed in at 784g.

Then Lou decided to use a photo of him to measure him on the application... the results came in as 5 foot...I thought to myself this must surely be wrong... so I used the string method.... and sure enough Griffin is 5 feet He really is a big boy!

that's what we were tryin to figure out. I homed him cos his last owner couldnt afford to keep all her snakes. She reckoned around 3 but I think hes older.

Wow he really is big, surely he must be older than 3 Mamma. I should weigh my little hatchling again. :)

Mind is changing on snakes I want now lol so am researching these to find out what would be best - Milk Snakes and Dwarf Boa possibly - Crawl Cay, Sonoran, Tarahumara or Vera Cruz and poss a Hoggie, African House and Rat snake. Also Trinket Snakes.

his weight sounds about right for his length but hopefully he won't put on any/much more!

cornsnakes, ratsnakes, bullsnakes, boas and day geckos

ty GP Im hoping he doesnt put much more on either. At the minute hes still not taken a feed from me yet as he has literally just finished shedding (yesterday). He was handled today as I was cleaning all the RUBS out. He will eat when he wants/needs to, but hes a good weight just now so im not overly worried about any weight loss until he does eat. I will of course keep an eye on it anyway
