Hi my daughter accidently shut the faun lid on the very tip off my sols tail, i have been keeping an eye on it and am a little worried about it, at the min it is a small area that is slightly blue and a little flat .Should this heal on its own with no probs like a briuse would on us or will there be more severe damage, has this ever happend to any one else. I can not post a pic or i would, |

If its blue and flat it needs to be seen by a vet. |

how much tail is affected? and how big is the snake concerned? it's likely to turn necrotic (die off) and tbh there's very little a vet is likely to do though if you're concerned, a trip to the vet would be beneficial, even if it's just to ease your mind, afterall any diagnosis over the internet will never be as good as seeing the problem 'in the flesh' |
