Hi Had my corn snake approx 3 weeks, she escaped and I,m still looking for her. I,m gutted. I have a Komodo snake starter kit and never thought an escape was possible, for anyone who has one of these tanks for the first time I recommend they block the trianglar holes where the catches are. I e-mailed the company just to ask if this has happened before and if not should add it to the care sheet supplied. Reply not as yet but still hoping (not)? Anyone else lost a snake like that. |

Oh dear. Sorry to hear you have an escape. I'm not familiar with those types of tanks, off to have a look...
Edit: Ah, I see the type. Have never been a fan of the mesh type tops for snake housing. For the very reason that I never trusted them to be escape proof |

i'm not either but i also do my best to avoid hatchies lol
try not to lose heart, plenty of snakes are found weeks and even months after they went walkabout
would be very interesting to hear what Komodo's response is |
cornsnakes, ratsnakes, bullsnakes, boas and day geckos
