Okay, so Mitch is getting on for 9 months old now and he is getting longer, he's over a foot now but he isnt getting much fatter, should I try feeding him 2 fluffs a week as he is only on 1 at the moment, and when I check on him the next day I cant see any sign of it being in his belly still. Just dont want to over feed him, so some advice is appreciated, should I just try feeding him 2 next week? Or will he eat it even though he's full?

What happens if he does regurge though? Will it hurt him?

a regurge is highly unlikely if your set-up and temps are right, and 2 relatively small prey items are more easily swallowed and digested than one large prey item

i'd feed every 7 days on double fuzzies for 3-5 weeks then reduce the number of days between feeds to 6 and then down again to 5 then move onto a small mouse

Everything is fine apart from humidity, I have been putting in moist hides and a bigger bowl for him to bathe in though so is getting better, I am getting his new viv in the next couple of weeks so when that's here everything will be brilliant. He has shed badly a couple of times because humidity was too low, but he is still in his tank that Pets at home advised me to leave him in until atleast a year old. But to be honest their advice was s**t! Wont be buying my next snake from them.

I think they give their snakes something to stunt their growth, so they can keep them in tiny plastic boxes for longer. The girl had no idea what she was going on about, when I got him I asked her if I could get some food for him at the same time and she bought out 6 fuzzies lol, he was the size of a piece of string then. Not too sure if he is actually a boy either because they just guessed by his tail, but I dont really mind if he's a boy or a girl because I dont plan on breeding snakes ever, i'm not clued up enough for that.

Pets at home is shocking it realy is. The times I have seen fish been sold riddled in ich it really annoys me, I have to go to them though as their sensitive dog food is the only food my dog can eat, believe me I've tried others.

To stunt growth you just feed the minimum amount of food just keep it alive and not a lot more. I'm the same with sexing snakes, I'm not a breeder yet all mine are boys (though I'm almost certain Sanke is a girl).
