Hi just wondered if anyone can help is it normal for my corn snake to have shed 3 times already this year and with him not eating anything since the end of December as this has never happened before just getting abit worried now as he is 16 years of age

they do shed a few times around this time of year, he should start feeding after this shed.

i'd be suspicious if it was one of my adults but not at all surprised if it was a juvenile
for a 16 year old i'd expect him to shed 3-4 times a year
could he have parasites?
or have an injury?

cornsnakes, ratsnakes, bullsnakes, boas and day geckos

Gingerpony He is fine not a thing wrong with him of what I can see had him to a reptile vet a few months ago and he said he is in great cond for is age he is shedding is skin then very active for a few weeks but not eating then goes hides for a few days sheds again then very active ect ect this has happened 3 times now already this year and he has had nothing to eat since December 30 but he looks very good in himself

what sort of viv is he in? does he have branches? does he climb? does he fall off?

It's a 3ft by 1ft glass viv there is a branch in there he does like climbing and he does alway fall of but it's not that high to hurt himself I think

he could have landed awkwardly, bruised himself on some decor, and be shedding more frequently as a result of that injury.......would be my guess
