Hi,

I asked a question on here the other day about a breeder, I managed to find one and I have reserved my hatchling.

The hatchling is around 20 - 30 CM long at the most so I was wondering if a terrarium of 36 x 22 x 34 cm would be ok for it to live in? (27 gallons). If this a good size what size heat matt would I need?

I'm not sure if it would be to big, i have read that if you get a tank that is to big you can just fill it with plants and hides etc. Is that the case?

I have decided not to have a heat lamp so would only be using a heat matt (i was told to use 8watts only) would that be ok?

Any help would be great thanks.

Sorry for all the questions I'm new to this.
